Yes, minions, i aint dead yet... My last year was just way too hectic to manage properly Kuroneko and the rest of the team felt also the need to take a break. Sorry for all the Jushin Enbu fans, we usually wouldn't have dropped it but we had lives to live first and it kinda suffered from it.

SO now, i'm going back to Uni this sept AND taking Japanese and i just miss contributing to the anime community. I doubt anyone will still visit this page but if you do then i'd like to know if anyone out there is willing to revive our small group. As usual the most needed positions are
- translators
- karaoke typesetter
but i'd gladly review any other applications as the more the better. Again fansubbing is just a hobby and fan based so lets make it a fun experience and feel free to email me at admin@k-neko.net

Alrighty, as you see , we are back, website is STILL under construction as we are changing a few things on it.
Also, good or bad timing, Zero no Tsukaima 3 airs this week, so before getting spammed with the same question, namely 'is Kuroneko subbing the third season?'
Here is the answer > We may but not guaranteed
It most likely depends of two factors : 1) staff availability and 2) series quality (even tho the promo pic could be named 'welcome to boobland -the sequel <<)
That brings me to another point, staff openings.
Kuroneko is recruiting now:
- afx typesetter (experienced)
- translator(s) (japanese native language)
- timer (experienced)

See nekos have many lives and as you can see we are back. Site was - as you most likely noticed - down due to several factors (yes donations were one, and others are due to my computer crash and personal reasons i'm not gotta rant bout). Bill paid and computer fixed (finally!) should make it easier now, and hopefully more releases (if the staff hasn't ran away haha)
ANYWAY, sorry for the inconvenience.

Okies, a bit late as usual for announcements, but before wicked minds start saying we are back on hiatus, we are not, i am just taking the week off. (holidays ya know?) So sorry but there was no releases this week and same will go for this weekend, as i'm the only typesetter/QC(on juushin) and well i'm just way too busy with real life (yes fansubbers also have one) and all that jazz to do a thing on subs.
Should be able to do some releases during the upcoming week tho...but dont email me to ask me when please.

Ok i'll restrain my fangirl self, just to announce we have released the 4th OVA of Tales of Symphonia.
This is the last of the Sylvarant arc BUT like mentioned previously this is NOT the end of the series. 4 others eps are to be expected !
TO ALL THE PPL WHO NEVER DLED THIS SERIES, JUST DO IT!
It is worth a leech. Girls, we get bishies / Guys, you get cool fights / Everybody, it has a good storyline AND animation.

As the third OVA of Tales of Symphonia has been released (Raw DVD thats it), i was kinda fulfilling my Kratos fangirl duties when i kinda noticed something odd... Tales of Symphonia will not have 4 episodes, but 8 ! A real good news when you see the good work they've been doing on the first three...and instead of ruining the end (like some series *cough* ZNT) they chose to make it longer it seems.

Hopefully Juushin and Shana will catch up soon, ToS will definitely be released too (as long as the long awaited HQ version).

So well good thing staff openings have been posted! And come on girls,you too can apply, Nameraka n I have fun but the more the eviler!

For the ppl who did not watch it yet, just get it ! Episodes are still seeded on tracker !

All right, being a small group is great but sometimes, like nowadays, adding a few peeps in our madhouse would really not hurt.
Positions available are:

- AFX typesetter, again a from time to time position...as i'm kinda too busy /lazy to learn after effects *adds to the endless to-do list*
- Back-up Encoder to help as one encoder for three shows is just kinda painful. You must be experienced, and completely familiar with avi, codecs, filters, mkv, random geekiness we mere commoners dont understand blablabla....
- Translator, native japanese is a plus, would only be from time to time help as Kazekage and Vlak are already on it (plus Shuya-chan when not hiding in his hole O_o).
Must be 100% fluent in jpn/eng.
- RELIABLE distro minions. You love getting raped by leechers ? Here is your chance... Minimum up speed required 200KBS+, preferably US timezones.
- A timer too, maybe...

Took us such a long time but finally got this out, lets hope it you'll enjoy it, next releases should not be so long as the main thing that delayed us was karaoke and also getting used to collab work with IY-F peeps.
